Tribe Archery risers and bows are the vision of an avid outdoorsman who wanted a better bow, one that was stable, accurate, and fast.

Tribe Archery was founded in 2009 by Heath Painter, a life-long archery enthusiast whose demonstrated passion for the outdoors has guided him to a successful career in outdoor hunting TV production and hosting. In the course of his career, he has pursued just about every game imaginable around the globe using stick and string. Time and time again, he found the bows he used did not live up to expectation.

Determined to design the ideal shooting experience, Heath and a group of dedicated hunters and archers set out to develop a fully customizable bow that would help mitigate the effects of the Archer’s Paradox. The group worked extensively with the University of Dayton Composite Center, a world-class research facility in nanotechnology and carbon structure research, to develop next generation composite materials for use in a brand new bow/limb concept.

All of this experience and expertise has been distilled into a family of youth and adult bows that marry ingenuity with a love for the hunt. Every riser and every bow that we make is designed to deliver superior performance for hunters and archers who take their passion seriously.

We take pride in what we do, and we take pride in making 100 percent of our bows in the USA .
